AND just like that… another year has come and gone. Time sure does FLY when you’re having fun, huh?! Goodbye to 2021, and say HELLO to 2022! This past year was full of unexpected surprises, and a lot of sun came through the rain clouds that may have hung over your “new normal”.
With all of the ups and downs of this thing called LIFE, why not do the stereotypical resolution making thing, but add some pizzazz. Even though it seems super basic to make simple resolutions, it can really be just what you need to actually stick to them and make some positive changes in this next year. Here are a few ideas just in case you need some New Years Resolution inspiration.
Work and workout… at the same time!
It’s SO hard to find time to workout. The number one New Years' resolution is ALWAYS “get fit”. Whether you want to lose a few pounds or you just want to be overall more healthy, this is the age-old timeless promise that always tends to be lost after a few weeks. Truth is, we just don’t have the time to workout, between work and family. Juggling it all is hard enough as it is.
NOT ANYMORE! The most genius invention ever…. A DESK BIKE! You can burn calories while you’re burning through your to-do list. You can send emails while burning off breakfast. It has never been easier to be fit, and now you have literally NO excuses!
Commit to Healthy Meal Prep
It’s a proven fact: meals from home are healthier and less calorie-filled than meals from a restaurant. We allllll know how easy it is to just pick something up to eat, instead of taking the time to pack your own lunch. The ease of the drive-thru line comes at a health cost that just isn’t worth the time you save.
Planning out your meals and prepping them on Sunday before your week will take a bit of extra time, but you’ll look and feel so much better! There are so many easy, fast, and low-cost recipes at the click of your fingertips. We like this simple Roasted Sausage with Vegetables and Quinoa recipe:
Ingredients:
1 16ox Package of MeatCrafters Chicken Basil Sausage
2 Cups Broccoli Florets
2 Cups Sweet Potatoes, cubed
2 Cups Sliced Peppers (any color)
2 Cloves Garlic
2 Tablespoons Olive Oil Cooked Quinoa Seasoning, to taste
Instructions: Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Toss sliced sausage and all of the veggies with the olive oil and minced garlic. Bake for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through. Divide the baked mixture between 5 meal prep containers, serving over the cooked quinoa. Season to taste!
Use an over-the-door pantry organizer to hold all of your accessories! Even though this item is marketed for pantry use, this item is actually perfect for all of those loose purses, belts, and random items that can get lost in the closet. Thank us later for this one!
This is just a short list of ideas to get you started off so fresh (and so clean) in the New Year. There are so many ways to liven up your everyday routine and make a positive impact on yourself. When you feel good about yourself, you can exude that positivity onto others in your life.
We at MeatCrafters wish you all the best for 2022, and a very happy and healthy New Year.
And as always, Thanks for being a fan!

"MeatCrafters participates in the Saturday Rockville Pike market and the Sunday Bethesda market. Their bratwurst is fantastic!!! I say that as someone who both grew up in Wisconsin and has lived in Germany. Their landjaeger is also great, and something I've not really seen outside of Wisconsin."
"Not only was I impressed with the facilities and the employees' enthusiasm for their products, but I was impressed with the samples I had while there."
