Instead of slaving away over dinner after work, you can come home and quickly serve a fabulous dinner that you made a few days ago without breaking a sweat. Freezing your recipes also extends the shelf life of food, as well as saves money when prepping in bigger quantities.
Here are some fun and easy recipes to get you started in your journey towards frozen happiness. Prep the recipes below, and then freeze in portions suitable for your family and needs.
1 Chicken Apple SausageorMaple Sage Sausage
1 Chopped Red or Green Peppers and Onions
6 Whole Eggs
½ Cup shredded cheddar cheese
Salt and Pepper to taste
1 16oz Package of Rigatoni Pasta
1lb of Chicken Basilor Spicy Italian Sausage
1 Yellow Onion, Diced
1 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
1 28oz Can of Crushed Tomatoes
2 Cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
½ Cup Heavy Cream
6 Cloves of Minced Garlic
1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
¼ Cup Fresh Chopped Basil
Sale and Pepper to taste
1 lb of Sliced and Pan-Fried Italian Sausage(remove from the casing before slicing)
1 each of Yellow and Red Pepper, Sliced
1 Yellow Onion, Sliced
2 cloves of Garlic, Minced
14 oz Can of Diced Tomatoes
1-2 Tablespoons of Cajun Seasoning
Place all ingredients into a large freezer bag or baking dish and freeze.
When ready to cook:
5 Cups of Frozen Mixed Veggies
1 Lb of Sliced Thai Basil Chicken Sausage(remove the casing before slicing)
2 Cups of Frozen Tortellini
1 Cup Half n Half Creamer
¼ Cup Olive Oil
2 Tsp Dried Parsley
¼ Tsp Garlic Salt
2 Tsp Salt
