When do orders ship?
Orders ship every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
How are orders packed to ensure food safety?
MeatCrafters ships our products in specially formulated insulated packaging, with dry ice and ice packs, designed specifically for frozen foods to ensure that your fresh sausages arrive cold.
Salamis and other dry-cured charcuterie, when ordered without frozen sausages, are also packed in a box on an insulated envelope, and in the summer months will be shipped with dry ice and ice packs to ensure that they stay cool.
How do we ship during the holidays?
Holiday Shipping Cutoff Dates
- Thanksgiving: Monday November 24
- Christmas: Monday December 22
- New Years: Monday December 29
MeatCrafters ships all orders to be received within 2 days of leaving our warehouse. Because we only ship Monday through Wednesday each week to ensure packages arrive cold and safe, when a shipping holiday falls on a weekday we stop shipping that week 2 days before the holiday (for example, if a there is a shipping holiday on a Thursday, we will only ship on Monday of that week to ensure all packages arrive by Wednesday).
MeatCrafters will continue to offer Local Pickup as an option surrounding holidays, however no Local Pickups are available on actual holiday days. Orders can be picked up from 7am-1pm Tuesday through Friday each week.
What do I need to know about Free Shipping?
MeatCrafters is pleased to offer free shipping for orders with a cart subtotal of $150 or more (the total before any discounts or promotions) to all 48 contiguous states (Alaska and Hawaii are excluded from free shipping).
