Randall Lineback Brisket (Packer Cut)

1 Whole Packer-Style Brisket (flat & point together), 5.75-6.5lbs, frozen

Low and slow is the game here. Our briskets are a bit leaner than conventional briskets, but the flavor will blow you away. Whether in the smoker or in the oven, try a lower temp for a bit longer (we recommend staying below 300 degrees for slow cooking). For oven baking, we advocate for seasoning well (brining or dry-rub overnight if you can) and adding liquid to the pan (raising the brisket on a rack and covering the whole thing tightly with foil.
